What we collect and why

• Contact details and the content of enquiries you send us, to respond to you and to assess whether we can act for you (legitimate interests and steps prior to entering into a contract).
• Identity, financial and suitability information from clients and prospective clients, to comply with anti-money-laundering, client categorisation and suitability obligations (legal obligation and contract).
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the website secure and, with your consent, to understand how it is used (legitimate interests and consent).

Sharing and transfers

We share personal data with service providers who act on our instructions, with counterparties, custodians and banks where necessary to provide services, and with regulators and authorities where required by law. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area we use safeguards recognised under the GDPR.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described above and to meet regulatory record-keeping requirements, which for client records is generally at least five years after the relationship ends.
